Interest is not the same as purchase
Survey intent supports a pilot. It does not replace testing price, conversion, seasonality and repeatability in the destination's own channels.
Regional impact is not property ROI
The Colorado Plateau study helps explain economic mechanisms and scale. A property model must use its own costs, capacity, capture rate and guest behavior.
Weather is part of the product
Cloud, moonlight, smoke and cold require explicit policies, alternatives and communication. Ignoring them does not make the risk disappear.
